Your events, your park

Do you have an event, regular group or an idea for something you'd like to make happen? We are here to facilitate building community in and around the park, so get in touch to learn about running events in Homestead Park.

  • We will do our best to accommodate any event or meeting which helps to realise our vision of ‘creating a place where everyone is welcome, where nature and community thrive’. This could include any activity that encourages people to connect with one another or the natural world, or improves the health, wealth and happiness of local communities.

We have ample space to accommodate outdoor groups, and space for indoor groups in The Pavilion Community Room and Winter Garden Glasshouse.

Please get in touch with our Community Engagement team and see how we can help you with your event.

  • If you are hosting a private gathering such as a birthday party or picnic, there is no need to ask permission (although if the group is very large, we do appreciate being forewarned). Please be considerate toward other people in the park, as well as our non-human inhabitants; keep noise levels reasonable and tidy up after yourselves.

Any public event, including regular outdoor classes, should be approved and booked by the Park Community Engagement team. This is so we can ensure any activities taking place are safe, in alignment with our values, and we can offer any support needed.

Please fill in the enquiry form if you would like to host a public event in the park.

  • In alignment with the park’s founding values we aim to provide as many high-quality cultural experiences to local people as we can for no, or as low a cost, as possible. To support this we are currently offering the use of our spaces to community groups for free.

This model may change in future, but we believe no group should be unable to access park resources due to a lack of funds, and will never seek to make a profit from hiring spaces.
