Organised by Yorkshire CND (campaign for nuclear disarmament) as part of York Environment Festival. This will be a panel discussion on 'A Future Beyond Military Bases' both in the UK and internationally.

Points for conversation will include repurposing land used by the military for public parkland (as was seen with Greenham Common). This event will include a speaker from Greenham Common and Pinelopi Gardika (from the Transition Security Project).
